Journeys We will study the content and styles of a variety of texts, broadly connected by the theme of journeys, and consider the reasons for, and the effects of, travelling. The first novel will be A Passage to India by E M Forster, and the other texts include Wide Sargasso Sea, Travels with a Donkey, Small Island, Conundrum (Jan Morris) and The Enchanted April. Pre-enrolment is essential for this popular class as numbers are limited. |
