Dr David Marcombe, the Director of the Centre for Local History at the University of Nottingham, delivered the lecture to a sell-out audience in the Town Hall. It was a very enjoyable evening with an excellent lecture, lots of questions from members of the audience and the opportunity to look at a replica of the market charter and other artefacts which David had brought with him. For more information or to get a copy (including by post £3.87p) phone Christie Taylor 01629 826796 or Ursula Gratton 01629 822519. |
