A look at the art, colour and drama of one of the most remarkable cities in the world: from the painters Bellini, Canaletto and Tiepolo to the problems of building in a lagoon and the vibrant traditions of carnevale and the Commedia dell’Arte.
In an earlier course, from September 07, we will study Vasari and the Italian Renaissance.
